The Ravens were long considered the front-runners for Floyd, a deep threat that the team coveted. According to a source, the Ravens couldn't create enough cap room to sign him. Other possible candidates include Steve Smith, Jericho Cotchery, Bryant Johnson and T.J. Houshmandzadeh. ... For what it's worth, HC Rex Ryan suggested that Mason will have to "leave some money on the table" if Mason wants to join the Jets.
