Favre broke Dan Marino's record for seasons with 3,000 yards passing, going over the mark Sunday night against Detroit. The Packers star's 11-yard pass to Robert Ferguson during the first quarter put him over 3,000 yards for a 14th season. Dan Marino and Favre held the record of 13.

Favre, playing in his 100th game at Lambeau Field, had already thrown for more than 3,000 yards in 13 consecutive seasons, an NFL record, before the start of 2005. Peyton Manning is third on the list with eight consecutive 3,000-yard seasons, including this year.
