With the NFL and the NFLPA pegging the deadline for securing his fourth year of credit toward free agency at August 9, WIP Radio's Howard Eskin reports that Jackson definitely will show up on Monday, August 8. Eskin is unequivocal, explaining that Jackson will “absolutely, positively” report.

previously noted, Jackson has been a training camp holdout in hopes of getting a new deal. Eagles president Joe Banner recently told PFT Live that it would be in Jackson’s best short-term and long-term interests to report. And it’s likely that negotiations would then commence on a long-term deal, especially after the team gave so much money to so many new players -- and as PFT's Mike Florio notes, in light of the ongoing talks with Mike Vick regarding an extension of a one-year contract that already will pay him nearly $27 for every $1 Jackson will earn under his fourth-year minimum salary of $600,000. ...
