Alexander recorded his ninth consecutive 100-yard rushing game in the regular season against NFC West opponents on Sunday, an NFL record. Alexander rushed for 105 yards on 20 carries in just three quarters against San Francisco, and got his league-leading 23rd touchdown.  Reported by NFL.com

The last NFC West opponent to hold Alexander under 100 yards was the Arizona Cardinals, who held him to 65 yards on Oct. 24, 2004. ... Alexander is now four behind Priest Holmes' single-season NFL record of 27 touchdowns rushing in 2003.
