lost last year’s starting TE to the Raiders this week. On Saturday night, they lost another tight end to retirement. The team announced Saturday night that Patrick decided he no longer wants to play football. He was placed on the reserve/retired list.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Patrick was
signed last week. He wasn’t expected to be a huge contributor, but he was very likely to make the team at a thin position. As PFT suggests, the Giants will have to go back to the drawing board. From a Fantasy perspective, however, the fewer options they have the more likely Travis Beckum, their top receiving threat at the position, is to be on the field.
