As previously noted, Snelling was tied to the Rams, Giants and Chiefs in free agency, but it would appear the money wasn't what he hoped for in those cities. It might not have been what he wanted in Atlanta, either. But he'll know his role. If Michael Turner gets hurt, Snelling figures to take most of the workload. Rodgers will help on third downs. ... Also: As PFT's Gregg Rosenthal notes, Snelling's return to Atlanta means that rookie Jacquizz Rodgers won’t be asked to have a huge role right away.
