The Facts:
Beck endured a setback in his quest to win the Redskins‘ starting QB job when he left team drills Saturday afternoon because of discomfort in a groin muscle. Beck was injured while scrambling on a play during 11-on-11 work. “I felt a little something, so I didn’t feel like I needed to push it,” he said after practice. “I don’t think it’s going to be anything serious. I was just trying to be precautionary so it doesn’t end up being anything serious.”

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Rex Grossman finished practice with the first-string offense, and third-string quarterback Kellen Clemens worked with the second team. “I was mad,” Beck said. “You want to be out there. Those are reps that I want to be taking, reps that were designated to me, and I want to be out there taking them because all those things are going to help me. ..." The team has today off. We'll have more on Beck when the Skins return to work.
