Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Buffalo sent Evans to Baltimore in exchange for a fourth-round pick.
As Baltimore Sun staffer Mike Preston noted after last night's loss to the Eagles, rookie Torrey Smith looked shaky in his preseason debut, and the Ravens had very little receiver depth after him. So, Evans appears to be terrific fit for the Ravens, who lacked speed last year. As PFT's Gregg Rosenthal points out, they have Anquan Boldin to go over the middle, in addition to their young TEs Ed Dickson and Dennis Pitta. Evans and Smith can work deep and outside.
