Though it’s hard to tell how fast he’s running, PFT's Mike Florio reports it sure looks like he’s where he was before tearing that ACL. Indeed, Florio is told Owens' goal is to be ready to play by Week 1. Given the rule that guarantees the salary of any vested veteran who is under contract at the start of the season, there’s a chance that he’ll be signed after the first weekend of regular-season games. Florio believes teams that could -- or at least should -- be interested include the Cardinals, Ravens, Panthers.
