an ongoing story. ... Britt will be called before NFL commissioner Roger Goodell this week, as Goodell determines whether to discipline him for violations of the NFL’s personal-conduct policy. ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that Britt will meet with the commissioner either Tuesday or Wednesday. One league source told Schefter that Britt could be in line for a “lengthy” suspension.

His next court date is September 20, but as PFT's Michael David Smith suggests, Goodell might not wait to see how the court rules before he issues his own ruling. ... Meanwhile, Britt has slowly been working back into the mix after missing the start of camp with a hamstring injury.
