NFL Confirms; No Discipline For Kenny Britt
(8/27 10:30 PT)

The Facts:
Britt will not be suspended to start the season, NFL spokesman Greg Aiello confirmed Saturday. Aiello said that the Titans were informed Friday by NFL commissioner Roger Goodell that the league had decided not to impose disciplinary action on Britt "at this time." Reported by Pro Football Weekly

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
"The commissioner restated his expectation that Britt will be responsible for his actions going forward and noted that future incidents will lead to appropriate discipline," Aiello told NFL.com. ... Britt met with Goodell in New York on Tuesday after twice being arrested in New Jersey during the lockout and two arrest warrants in Tennessee for inaccurate information on his driver's license applications. Those are part of seven incidents with police since April 2009, when Britt became the first player from Rutgers drafted in the first round. ... It's great news for the Titans and perhaps Fantasy owners. With Matt Hasselbeck looking sharp in preseason play, Britt's draft stock will rise in light of this news.
