Jennings was a seventh-round draft pick in 2009 and became a backup in whom the Jaguars had a lot of confidence last season. He played in 13 games and had three starts last season, rushing for a career high 459 yards with four touchdowns. Jennings injured his knee against the Bills two weeks ago and was seen on crutches last week. The Jaguars could find a running back in free agency or off waivers to have an every-down type of backup for Maurice Jones-Drew. According to Times-Union staffer Tania Ganguli, HC Jack Del Rio also Friday he'd expect fullbacks Montell Owens and Brock Bolen to see more carries this year.
