Several national reports after the game said that Walter had a broken shoulder and would be out as long as 10-12 weeks. “He’s obviously going to probably miss a few days, and we’ll see where he’s at middle of the week, end of the week, but he does not have a fracture, so that’s good news. ..." Kubiak has not yet ruled out Walter, the Texans’ No. 2 receiver, for next week’s game at Miami. If he can’t play, the Texans would be down to three receivers – Andre Johnson, Jacoby Jones and Bryant Johnson, who signed with the Texans late in the preseason. Jones would move into the No. 2 role if Walter misses any time. The fifth-year pro had three catches for 43 yards and a 79-yard punt return touchdown against the Colts.
