Mark Sanchez Took Post-Game Concussion Test... And Passed
(9/13 4:20 PT)

The Facts:
Sanchez was checked after Sunday night's game for a concussion. He told ESPN Radio, via Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News, that Sanchez underwent “some baseline tests” after the game. Sanchez says he has no concussion. Reported by Profootballtalk.com

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Per Rich Cimini of ESPN.com, Sanchez “appeared groggy” at times when talking to the media after the game, and that he looked away from the bright TV lights. Cimini said that Sanchez also spent “an inordinate amount of time” in the trainer’s room. ... If Sanchez had been diagnosed with a concussion, he would have found himself in the gears of the league’s concussion protocol, which would have kept him from practicing or playing until cleared by doctors. As PFT's Mike Florio suggests, that’s good news for Sanchez, and for the Jets. If Sanchez couldn’t play, his replacement would be Mark Brunell.
