We already know that Tom Brady would welcome Moss back into the Patriots’ fold, but the retired wideout insisted Thursday that he’s done catching passes. WEEI-AM producer Ian Meropol ran into Moss at a golf course in Bellingham, Mass., and quizzed him about the rumors of possibly rejoining New England’s attack. “Any chance we’ll see you in Gillette, Randy?” Meropol asked. “No, I’m done,” Moss replied.

So, perhaps it’s really over for Moss, who bounced from New England to Minnesota to Tennessee last season. Whispers about his return — if not based in reality — stem from the talent many believe he still possesses. The idea that after a respite, he could join a team and explode. People aren’t ready to give up on Moss, but it appears he's really walking away. ... For now.
