As Profootballtalk.com noted, the injury was initially called a neck injury. Vick was shown woozy, vomiting, and coughing up blood at various points on the sideline. Players generally miss a game after suffering a concussion, but the return is a process that includes a series of exams and tests. It's safe to assume a definitive update on his status is a few days out. HC Andy Reid said that the team wouldn't know if Vick will be ready for next week's game against the Giants until he undergoes testing over the next few days. Theoretically, Vick could be cleared to play by Sunday. Indeed, McLane's report and the fact Vick was allowed to fly home with teammates are both positive signs. ... Stay tuned. More to come.
