Following up on a
previous item. ... Don’t be surprised if Hernandez sits out this week’s game. The Patriots TE suffered a knee injury that caused him to miss the second half of the fourth quarter, and it’s one that left him limping out of the locker room. While it doesn’t appear to be serious at this point, it will almost certainly be serious enough to have him miss a game.

Both Herald staffer Ian Rapoport and Boston Globe writer Shalize Manza Young report the injury is a sprained MCL that will cost Hernandez one to two weeks. Whatever the case, as Rapoport suggested, "It may be just a double serving of [Rob Gronkowski] for the Bills game." It might also mean we’ll see a bunch more of Chad Ochocinco and three WR sets. He had two catches for 45 yards on Sunday. ... Stay tuned.
