Flutie underwent arthroscopic knee surgery today morning and will miss an estimated two weeks. The 41-year-old quarterback had been bothered by soreness in his left knee and hadn't practiced since Saturday.

Flutie tried to return to the work Wednesday, but was pulled out when the pain returned. The Chargers are low on arms in camp, down to Drew Brees and Cleo Lemon, a member of the practice squad last year. Besides Flutie, the team is without unsigned rookie Phillip Rivers, the only top five pick still without a contract.
