Reuben Droughns Wants A New Contract
(1/3 10:40 PT)

The Facts:
Droughns hopes to get his contract redone in the offseason and made no promises about what would happen if he's not re-signed by the start of training camp. "It's kind of hard to say," said Droughns when asked if he'd be here for the opening of camp. Reported by the Cleveland Plain Dealer

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Droughns, who rushed for 1,232 yards this season, is under contract through 2006 for $1.15 million - far less than most other 1,000-yard rushers. He made $950,000 this season after being acquired in a trade with Denver. One thing working in Droughns' favor is that team consultant Jim Brown -- highly respected by owner Randy Lerner -- has recommended to the Browns that a redo is in order.
