Scott Linehan will interview today with the Houston Texans for their head-coaching job and might receive interest from Minnesota and Oakland among the eight teams seeking head coaches.

Linehan, who has spent one season with the Dolphins and four in the NFL, is among six coaches the Texans have scheduled interviews with, although the early front-runner for the job appears to be Denver Broncos assistant coach Gary Kubiak, who will interview Friday. Houston also plans to speak with assistant coaches Jerry Gray of Buffalo, Brad Childress of Philadelphia, Cam Cameron of San Diego and Al Saunders of Kansas City.
