Mav Levy Returns To Bills As VP Of Football Operations
(1/5 11:29 PT)

The Facts:
The most successful coach in Buffalo history returned a day after owner Ralph Wilson fired president and general manager Tom Donahoe, saying he would take a more active role in the franchise. "I'm an 80-year-old rookie and looking forward to it with unbounded enthusiasm," Levy said.  Reported by ESPN.com

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
It's an attempt to resurrect an underachieving team that's coming off a 5-11 season and missed the playoffs for a sixth straight year. Levy, who turns 81 this year, is the Bills' winningest coach with a 112-70 record. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2001. Besides Houston, which joined the league in 2002, the Bills are the only AFC team since 2001 that has failed to make the playoffs.
