A second NFL team has received permission from the Dolphins to interview offensive coordinator Scott Linehan about a head coaching vacancy. After one season with Linehan, the Dolphins went from a ranking of 29th to 14th in overall offense. However, it appears the Rams could be leaning more toward a defensive mind.

Three defensive coordinators and Linehan are expected to interview, the St. Louis Dispatch reported Thursday. Linehan, who interviewed with the Houston Texans on Wednesday, could be attempting to improve his stock for next year's offseason. He has just four years of NFL experience, including three years as the Minnesota Vikings offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach.
