Williams was served a notice to appear in court after police allegedly found a small amount of marijuana in his car during a routine traffic stop. Williams is charged with possession of 20 grams or less of marijuana, a misdemeanor. But rather than being taken to jail, he was served a notice to appear in court, documents show.
