Williams was served a notice to appear in court after police allegedly found a small amount of marijuana in his car during a routine traffic stop. Williams is charged with possession of 20 grams or less of marijuana, a misdemeanor. But rather than being taken to jail, he was served a notice to appear in court, documents show.

He was also cited for running a red light, turning left from a center lane and unknowingly driving on a suspended or revoked driver's license.
