The Facts:
Just seven days after taking over for the fired Mike Tice, Brad Childress announced Thursday the hiring of Darrell Bevell as offensive coordinator. Minnesota also hired Darrell Wyatt to coach the wide receivers. He had coached receivers at Oklahoma for the past three years. Virginia Tech's Kevin Rogers, who developed Donovan McNabb at Syracuse, was hired as QBs coach.

Bevell spent the last six years with the Green Bay Packers, the last three as quarterbacks coach. He replaces Steve Loney, who just completed his first year as offensive coordinator after three years as an offensive line coach. Bevell played collegiately under Childress at Wisconsin.
