Foster injured his right ankle in the third quarter and had to leave Sunday's playoff game against the Chicago Bears. Foster was hurt when his leg was twisted on a tackle by Chicago linebacker Hunter Hillenmeyer. He was helped off the field and taken to the locker room on a cart. He was replaced by Nick Goings.

ESPNews is reporting the ankle is broken. Foster rushed for 151 yards last week to lead the Panthers over the Giants 23-0. He had 54 yards on 16 carries Sunday before the injury.
