Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Manning, who worked out for the Broncos on Friday and did the same for the 49ers earlier in the week, has told the Titans he'll throw for them, though the site and time of that workout is unclear. Teams also are being cautious about banking on a decision happening earlier in the week, because the process already has gone so long. But that is the timeframe the free-agent QB provided. A source also confirmed to Breer that parameters of the five-year, $90 million contract that Manning signed with the Colts in August are serving as the starting point for negotiations on his next NFL deal. The contract is expected to include protections for a team in regard to his repeated neck problems, and the structure could vary from the original deal.
