ongoing story. ... As Manning plans to announce his new team either Monday or Tuesday of next week, teams are entering the final sprint of the QB. The latest development came as Manning was reportedly set to work out for the team on Saturday in Knoxville, Tenn., according to the Titans Sports Network. It remains to be seen, however, if Manning will work out of the Titans on Saturday. The scene at the University of Tennessee was quiet, with multiple sources telling NFL Network no activity could be seen at Neyland Stadium.

NFL Network's Michael Lombardi and Breer remain unconvinced of Manning's reported plans. NFL Network's Albert Breer also reported that Saturday is Manning's wedding anniversary. Manning is not on the campus of Duke University, in Durham, N.C., Chris Cook, the school's sports information director, told NFL Network's Staley Dales. ...
