The Facts:
Henson, who didn't play in a game this season and has started just once in two years, was among three players allocated to NFL Europe on Monday by the Cowboys. Henson, practice squad receiver Tom Crowder and cornerback Lenny Williams will report to training camp in mid-February.

Henson was the inactive third quarterback for all 16 games this season, stuck behind starter Drew Bledsoe and backup Tony Romo. Other than the two games he played as a rookie in 2004, including a start against Chicago on Thanksgiving Day -- he was pulled at halftime -- Henson hasn't played any football since the 2000 season when he started eight games for the University of Michigan.
