ongoing story. ... Per NFL Network's Jason La Canfora, the Broncos have scheduled a free agent visit with former Colts C Jeff Saturday. La Canfora also reports that the Broncos will "likely" sign former Colts slot receiver Brandon Stokley.

Those moves would certainly make Peyton Manning feel more at home in his new city. More ex-Colts that could land in Denver include TE Dallas Clark and RB Joseph Addai. Addai lacks dynamic running ability, but he is a trusted pass protector and check-down receiver. Most of the above signings should be affordable, not that the Broncos are up against the salary cap. Addai and Clark have drawn little to no interest in free agency, and nor has Stokley. All three of those players may be willing to sign for the veteran's minimum.
