The Facts:
Following up on the
ongoing story. ... Both Tania Ganguli of the Florida Times-Union and NFL Network's Jason La Canfora are reporting that the Jaguars have discussed the acquisition of Tebow "internally." A source told Ganguli the Jags "have not had formal trade discussions" with the Broncos, but that may be an inevitable step if owner Shad Khan mandates it. It's no secret that Khan has been a Tebow fan, going back to the 2010 draft.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Per La Canfora, the "football people" (including G.M. Gene Smith) in Jacksonville have not been Tebow backers. But as PFT's Evan Silva suggests, the Jaguars' new owner may dabble more into personnel matters than Wayne Weaver's old group did. Meanwhile, the Jets appear to be gearing up for a serious, aggressive run at Tebow. Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News reports that the Jets' interest is "legitimate. ..." Two other teams reportedly interested -- the Dolphins and Packers -- claim they are not. The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported Tuesday that a source familiar with Packers GM Ted Thompson believes he'd only offer a late-round pick for Tebow. The Miami Herald cited multiple team sources on Tuesday in reporting the Dolphins have no interest in Tebow. ... Whatever the case, look for the Broncos to push this one and resolve the situation as quickly as possible.
