Green-Ellis rushed for 667 yards and 11 touchdowns last season for the Patriots after breaking the 1000-yard mark and scoring 13 touchdowns in 2010. Signed by New England as an undrafted free agent in 2008, Green-Ellis has never fumbled in his four-year NFL career. He has been the leading rusher for the Patriots over the last two seasons, but the Patriots drafted two running backs -- Shane Vereen (second round) and Stevan Ridley (third round) -- last spring who are probably going to be expected to play bigger roles. ... The Bengals' leading back, Cedric Benson, is an unrestricted free agent. If this deal is consummated, Cincinnati has essentially found Benson's replacement in Green-Ellis.
