As Tebow’s trade to the Jets hangs in the balance over a disputed $5 million payment, a team that could get much more than $5 million in ticket revenue from Tebow’s presence is considering trading for him. The Jacksonville Jaguars are now in the mix and attempting to work out a trade with the Broncos for Tebow, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports.

Meanwhile, the Rams also appear to have some interest in Tebow and have discussed a deal with the Broncos as well -- but Schefter is now reporting it's down to the Jags and Jets. ... In case you missed it, the Broncos and Jets
initially agreed to a trade that would send Tebow and a seventh-round pick to New York in exchange for a fourth-round pick and a sixth-round pick. But that trade hit a sticking point when the Jets realized that Tebow’s contract had a clause that required some $5 million in salary advances he has already received to be sent back to the Broncos by any team that acquires him. Although the Jets formally announced the trade, they did not finalize it with the league office, which is required before any trade becomes official. So the Jets can back out -- although it's still not clear if they will. Stay tuned.
