Feely had made it clear as the season was ending that he wanted to return to the Arizona Cardinals, and Friday, he and the team made that happen. The veteran kicker agreed to a new two-year contract.

In two seasons with the Cards since arriving to replace Neil Rackers, Feely has converted 43 of 51 field goals (84 percent) and all 62 of his point-after tries. He also scored a touchdown in 2010, running in a score on a fake field goal. Last season, Feely was 19-of-24 on field goals, missing two in a game on two occasions. But he rallied to make his final 11 attempts in a row, and his final field goal of the season came on the season's final play, a 28-yarder in overtime to beat the Seahawks and even the Cards' record at 8-8.
