The Facts:
Reid said the team has no interest in Burress, who has gone public with his desire to play with Eagles quarterback Michael Vick. "They're buddies. They grew up together, and I know they're friends," Reid said. "I've got a ton of respect for Plax. He's had a great career. Right now that's not where we're at. But that doesn't take anything away from his game. He can play."

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
There have been reports Burress
was in contact with the Eagles, but if they're not interested it's not clear who might be. He hasn't drawn much interest so far. As Profootballtalk.com's Michael David Smith noted this morning, Burress played in all 16 games for the Jets last season but
didn't look like the same player he had been before shooting himself in the leg and serving a prison sentence; Burress caught just 45 passes for 612 yards, making it the first time since his rookie year that he averaged less than three catches and 40 yards a game.
