ongoing story. ... Recently, GM Buddy Nix said he has told his Jackson that they'll
give him an extension before training camp gets underway in late July. When asked for comment, Jackson's agent Ron Raccuia feels Nix is being truthful in his most recent comments. "Buddy Nix has been honest and consistent with us all along," Raccuia said Friday. "I'm confident talks will get started in the next couple of months."

With a number of their own free agents to focus on previously -- not to mention some of the big moves made on the open market, the Bills have been busy. Now the focus understandably shifts to the draft. Once the craziness of that dies down, it's fair to expect Jackson will be priority number one for the Bills as off-season workouts start up in May. As WGR550.com's Joe Buscaglia suggests, it seems it's just more a matter of when rather than if.
