The Facts:
The Cardinals have started negotiations to Warner, and there is hope that a deal can be reached before the free-agent period begins March 3. Warner's agent, Mark Bartelstein, characterized the talks as "nothing earth-shattering," but both sides are motivated to get a deal done.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Warner, who turns 35 in June, played well last year, completing 64.5 percent of his passes. He threw 11 touchdown passes and was intercepted nine times. The Cardinals want him back, partly because they have no experienced quarterback under contract with Josh McCown expected to leave via free agency.
