Harvin didn't specify the nature of the emergency. He had been scheduled to undergo arthroscopic surgery to clean out bone spurs and was expected to be ready when organized team activity practices begin on May 29. An NFL source told 1500ESPN.com's Tom Pelissero that the surgery still is expected to happen soon, though, and the Vikings remain optimistic about having Harvin for OTAs. ... Stay tuned.
