HC Jim Harbaugh said WR Randy Moss, PK David Akers, C Jonathan Goodwin, Gore and safety Dashon Goldson are not among the more than 60 players participating in the team's voluntary offseason workout program.

Goldson has not signed his franchise tag. The others, Harbaugh said, live out of the area and had family commitments.
Moss' absence was previously reported. Gore has always prefered working out near his home in Miami and conditioning has never been an issue for him. He's also heading into the second season of a four-year contract extension signed last summer. In other words, his absence (like Moss') is a non-issue.
