Gary Kubiak will be hired as coach of the Texans, owner Bob McNair said Sunday, bringing an offensive mind to a team that failed miserably this season with a defensive coach at the helm. The announcement of McNair's intent to hire Kubiak came about an hour after Denver lost to Pittsburgh 34-17 in the AFC Championship game.
