Dismissing speculation that the Ravens have shown interest in Culpepper, GM Ozzie Newsome said yesterday that there have been no trade talks with the Vikings. "I don't anticipate [any talks]," Newsome said from Mobile, Ala., the site of this week's Senior Bowl.

The Ravens are looking for a veteran to compete with Kyle Boller or back him up, which could prove difficult considering the free-agent market in March should be bleak. If Culpepper is available -- and there has been increasing tension between the Vikings and the three-time Pro Bowler -- he'll be of interest to a number of teams, including the Raiders, Cardinals and Dolphins.
