The Facts:
Three weeks after being fired as coach of the Texans, Capers will be joining Nick Saban's staff. The Dolphins on Tuesday named Capers as a special assistant. "We're pleased to have someone as well-respected as Dom join the Dolphins," Saban said. "He brings a wealth of knowledge to Miami and will be a valuable addition to our staff. ... I'm sure his contributions will help us continue to improve as a team."

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
The hiring of Capers comes three days after the Dolphins named former Bills coach Mike Mularkey as their offensive coordinator. It also continues a trend among wealthier owners (like Washington's Daniel Snyder) of taking advantage of the fact there is no salary cap on coaching staffs.
