The Facts:

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
The news was first reported by Peyton Manning and has since been confirmed by multiple outlets in the Boston area. Addai will provide New England with a much-needed veteran presence at tailback. Stevan Ridley and Shane Vereen are still very inexperienced as they enter their second NFL seasons, while Danny Woodhead is in his fifth. And as CSNNE.com's Tom Curran notes, like Robert Gallery, Donte Stallworth, Anthony Gonzalez, Jabar Gaffney, Andre Carter, Mark Anderson, Torry Holt, David Patten, Fred Taylor and so many other veterans who've joined New England in the last few seasons (with mixed results), Addai's hoping to show what he can still do and the Patriots will try to create a role. And now we'll see how it plays out.
