Position Coach Has High Hopes For Dez Bryant
(5/7 12:27 PT)

The Facts:
Cowboys WRs coach Jimmy Robinson chatted with media members following a rookie mini-camp practice session Saturday at Valley Ranch. Who was the first person Robinson was asked about? Dez Bryant. "He's doing great," Robinson said. "Having a good offseason. Working really hard and getting better out here every day. Again, that's got to carry over to the next phase, to the OTAs and training camp and then regular season, game day." Reported by the Dallas Morning News

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Robinson said there aren't any particular aspects of Bryant's game that the two are working on. He simply summarized it as "everything. ..." The Cowboys' top draft pick in 2010 improved from his rookie season, catching 63 passes for 928 yards and nine touchdowns in 2011. However, he wasn't much of a factor in the fourth quarter of several games and he failed to record a 100-yard game. With Laurent Robinson departing via free agency, Bryant will need to boost his production, especially in the red zone. The question now is whether he can take the next step and fully maximize his impressive physical attributes and talent. "I think he's working hard in here," Robinson said. "The teaching sessions got off to a good start. He's out here working really, really hard to get better. It's got to make a difference. If it doesn't, then what's the point of the off-season program? I'm confident it's going to help."
