The Facts:
Underwood may be best known as the player released by the New England Patriots roughly 24 hours before the Super Bowl. But the former Rutgers receiver with the tall hair has found work with the Bucs and his old coach, Greg Schiano. Underwood, 25, has agreed to terms with the Bucs and expected to sign a contract as early as Tuesday. Earlier Monday, Underwood tweeted, "Taking My Talents & Hair To Florida. ..."

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
A seventh-round draft pick by Jacksonville in 2009, Underwood played in 16 games the past two seasons with the Patriots, recording 11 receptions for 141 yards and no touchdowns. But Underwood was a very productive receiver for Schiano at Rutgers. In four seasons with the Scarlet Knights, he had 132 receptions for 1,931 yards and 16 touchdowns. And as Times staffer Rick Stroud notes, suddenly, the Bucs appear well-stocked with competition at receiver. Tampa Bay signed Chargers free agent Vincent Jackson to a five-year, $55.55-million contract in March. The Bucs also have Mike Williams, Arrelious Benn, Sammie Strougher, Preston Parker and Dezmon Briscoe returning from the 2011 club.
