Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
As PFT's Josh Alper notes, the writing for the move was on the wall when the team drafted Bradie Ewing in the fifth round of the draft. Mughelli was due to make $3 million in 2012, the final year of a six-year deal he signed after leaving the Ravens, and that's a lot for a fullback. ... Mughelli two Pro Bowls and was performing at a high level last season before he wound up on injured reserve with a torn MCL halfway through the season. The presence of Ewing, Mughelli's salary and the injury made the veteran expendable. Stay tuned. We'll keep an eye out for his next landing spot.
