previous item. ... It's unclear where things stand with the Lions and Grant after Grant did not visit the Lions on Monday. Alan Herman, Grant's agent, said in a text message last week that Grant was scheduled to visit the Lions on Monday, but a team source said no visit was ever scheduled.

It should be noted that almost everything we've heard about Grant has come from Herman, who told the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel last week that the Lions were "very interested." Could Herman have exaggerated their interest to gin up interest among others? Well. That is his job. ... Stay tuned. The Packers don't seem to be especially interested in re-signing Grant, but that could change if/when his price comes down. The Raiders have also been mentioned as a possible suitor. We'll continue to follow up as developments warrant.
