The Facts:
The 49ers opened their hourlong "football school" to the media on Thursday, and Moss was the featured attraction. The 35-year old WR ran smooth patterns with ease and snatched passes out of the air, as the 49ers ran plays uncovered. During this phase of the NFL offseason program, teams are prohibited from practicing offense vs. defense.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Moss reported to the 49ers' offseason program on April 30. Safety Donte Whitner said he has been working out in the mornings with Moss, Frank Gore and Michael Crabtree. Whitner said he believes Moss has not lost any speed. "A lot of times we're running with chains on our backs, we're running 60-yard sprints," Whitner told CSNBayArea.com's Matt Maiocco. "So you can see that he can really run. A lot of times he's leading in the sprints. So if I had to say anything, I don't think he lost a step at all. ..." Moss, who retired from the NFL a year ago, last played in the NFL in 2010, when he caught a combined 28 passes for 393 yards and five touchdowns while playing 16 games for three different teams: New England, Minnesota and Tennessee.
