According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Young has signed a one-year deal with the Buffalo Bills. Reported by FootballDiehards.com

The Bills are looking to create some significant competition for the backup quarterback job behind starter Ryan Fitzpatrick. As Buffalo News staffer Mark Gaughan suggested, Young’s experience and great mobility could be attractive to HC Chan Gailey. The Bills’ incumbent backup is Tyler Thigpen, who hardly played last year. He saw only mop-up duty in a loss at San Diego, completing 2 of 6 passes. Fitzpatrick is entrenched as the Bills' starter. Now that he's signed, Young becomes the favorite to beat out Thigpen for the No. 2 spot, based on his talent and experience.
