ongoing story. ...Per multiple reports (including one from Kelli Johnson of CSNWashington.com), Hightower has rejoined the Redskins, two months to the day after free agency opened.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
The Cardinals traded Hightower to the Redskins last July, after he was displaced by then-rookie Ryan Williams in Arizona. He rushed for 321 yards in five starts with the Redskins before tearing an ACL. Hightower and Roy Helu could compete for the starting tailback job -- although local observers consider Hightower the favorite. As PFT's Mike Florio notes, the biggest question is whether and to what extent Hightower's knee injury has healed. We'll continue to follow up as needed.
