The Facts:
With organized team activities starting tomorrow, the Jaguars will be without two key players. Jones-Drew and Josh Scobee won't be there for Jacksonville's voluntary workouts.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
As Times-Union staffer Tania Ganguli notes, this shouldn't be a surprise since neither player has participated in the Jaguars voluntary offseason workouts yet. The Jaguars don't have mandatory minicamp until June. Scobee's absence
is a clear contract issue. The Jaguars placed the franchise tag on him for a one-year deal worth $2.88 million and Scobee has not signed it, which means he is not under contract. He wants a long-term deal and the Jaguars are hoping to sign him to one, although little progress has been made on that front so far. Jones-Drew's
might be a contract issue. Recent contracts doled out to some of the league's top running backs have knocked his salary down significantly. In the past year, Chris Johnson, Arian Foster and Marshawn Lynch all rose above Jones-Drew. Adrian Peterson, Deangelo Williams and Steven Jackson also have higher salaries than Jones-Drew, who signed a five-year deal worth $31 million in 2009. Jones-Drew is due $4.45 million this season. ... Stay tuned. More undoubtedly to come.
